Embark on a fascinating tour that will take you to discover the charms of Puerto Varas, the imposing Lahuen Ñadi Natural Monument and the picturesque Angelmó Market; immerse yourself in its rich culture, history and the lushness of its natural surroundings.
Hotel pick-up. We will begin the tour from the beautiful city of Puerto Varas, also known as the City of Roses, with a stop at the waterfront to enjoy the view of the city from the bay and the “Aurora” sculpture with Lake Llanquihue in the background; we will visit the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Old Quarter, where the first German settlers established themselves.
Afterwards we will head along the Las Lomas road to the Lahuen Ñadi Natural Monument, an Alerce forest with specimens from 5 to 1,800 years old, where some trees reach 40 meters in height. We will walk an interpretive trail where we will also see canelos, coigües and several species of ferns.
Then we will continue toward the Angelmó, famous in our country for its many craft shops and, of course, the Fishermen’s Cove and Market, where we will see the daily activity of the seafarers who bring the traditional shellfish and fish that are then sold at the Market.
