Adventure on the Chilean Border

We invite you to discover Snow to the Limit, the whitest adventure at the border crossing between Argentina and Chile, in the highest mountain area of the region. A full-day tour in which licensed mountain guides will lead you through a unique experience.

The tour starts leaving Bariloche, skirting Lake Nahuel Huapi to reach the picturesque town of Villa La Angostura, where we stop for lunch.

After lunch (a stop of approximately an hour and a half) we head to the Cardenal Samoré Pass, Argentine customs, where the transit procedure will be done by presenting each passenger’s documentation, and from there, along a winding mountain road climbing the Andes, we arrive at the highest area of the Argentina/Chile international boundary marker.

At the edge of the mountain, the immense white forest introduces us to a unique mountain experience, where you can slide on sleds, build snowmen, enjoy the silence or play with family or friends, always accompanied by our mountain guides. We will also hike through the snowy forests to the Cerro Pantojo viewpoint. To close the day, the guides will treat us to an alfajor and a hot chocolate to sweeten our afternoon.
