Puerto Montt & Puerto Varas (shared)

Discover the magical essence of Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas on our unforgettable City Tour. We will begin the tour from the beautiful city of Puerto Varas, also known as the City of Roses, with a stop at the waterfront to enjoy the view of the city from the bay and the “Aurora” sculpture with Lake Llanquihue in the background.

We will see its main tourist attractions: the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (subject to opening hours). We will visit the Old Quarter, where the first German settlers established themselves.

Then we will head down to the downtown area along the beautiful Lake Llanquihue and, weather permitting, see the imposing Osorno Volcano in the background, whose meltwater feeds Lake Llanquihue every day.

We will head to Puerto Montt, 20 km to the south, capital of the Lakes and Volcanoes Region, visiting the highest point of the city, from where we will enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and Tenglo Island.

From there we will go to the downtown area of the city, the Plaza de Armas (the first public square with a garden in Chile), close to the Cathedral, the Pier, the newly renovated waterfront and the famous “Seated Facing the Sea” Lovers’ Monument, which will let us enjoy along the way the architectural heritage, the scenic beauty of the Reloncaví Sound and the mix of cultures that forged the city.

Afterwards, we will continue toward the Angelmó, famous in our country for its many craft shops and, of course, the Fishermen’s Cove, where we will see the daily activity of the seafarers who bring the traditional shellfish and fish that are then sold at the Market.
