Discover the magic of southern Chile on a unique tour: Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas await you with their captivating landscapes, vibrant culture and nature that invites you to dream.

Departure from the Port, beginning the route along the Pan-American Highway north; we will travel about 18 kilometers to arrive at the beautiful City of Puerto Varas, also known as the City of Roses, where we will see its main tourist attractions.

We will visit the Old Quarter, where the first German settlers established themselves, and then descend to the downtown area skirting the beautiful Lake Llanquihue and, weather permitting, see the imposing Osorno Volcano in the background, whose meltwater feeds Lake Llanquihue every day.

We will visit the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, built between 1915 and 1918, in Monumental Baroque style, an exact replica of a Black Forest church in Germany, where some of the settlers who arrived in our area from 1852 came from. (subject to opening hours)

In the city center, visitors will have time to walk its main streets, taste the pastries, take photographs and shop for typical crafts.

We will continue the tour to Puerto Montt to visit the Manuel Montt Viewpoint, where we can see Puerto Montt bay with its Waterfront and Tenglo Island just opposite.

Finally we will visit the area of Angelmó, famous in our country for its many craft shops and, of course, the Fishermen’s Cove and Market, where we will see the daily activity of the seafarers who bring the traditional shellfish and fish, which are then sold to the community; we will also find the typical cocinerías (food stalls) where the tastiest traditional dishes of our area are served.

Return to the Cruise Port.
