Snowcat on Perito Moreno

Set off on a journey to the eternal snows of Cerro Perito Moreno: travel mountain roads, ride up in Snowcats and be amazed by a white sea that stretches to the horizon.

A unique experience through the heart of the mountain range until reaching an immense snow plateau in Argentine Patagonia.
Along Route 40, lakes Gutiérrez, Mascardi and Guillelmo will frame the view of the first stretch, until reaching Cañadón de la Mosca, along a unique mountain road in a marvelous Patagonian landscape.

Before reaching El Bolsón, we will turn off toward Cerro Perito Moreno, where we will have an unforgettable experience. After 1 hour 45 minutes we will reach the base of the hill, with its slopes covered in lenga and ñire forests, where we will take the lifts to reach the eternal snows.

Once at the plateau level, we will board the SNOWCATS, our 4×4 Toyota Hilux trucks, adapted with a cabin that carries up to 10 passengers and equipped with

powerful tracks that multiply the natural power of these trucks. With their power they overcome the difficulties of the terrain and take us across the majestic snow expanse of Cerro Perito Moreno, located 1,700 meters above sea level.
After an hour traveling across the endless blanket of snow, we will reach the highest and most beautiful part of the plateau, where the snow exceeds 4 meters in depth. There, enjoying the impressive white landscape, we can walk around, play in the snow and have fun on the sledding runs.
Later we will have free time for lunch and, after 2 hours of touring and fun, we will begin the descent to return to the city of Bariloche. An unmissable journey to the heart of the mountain in Argentine Patagonia.
